As humans, we were tuned, born, developed, aggregated to live in the forest and have a 360 listening field. Paradoxically, our body still behaves as if we still lived the same way.
Our ears, heads and nose all contribute to us instantaneously pinpointing the exact location of a sound source and we actually enjoy that!
This is only a tiny fraction of an exemple of why immersive, multi-channel, 360° spatial audio is so appropriate!
Today at Stokata, we understand this craving and we make it available, either by creating immersive music or creating sound systems capable of great immersive content play-out, or both. As we have been involved in immersive sound design for years now, we have developed a rather good understanding of human needs, as well as artistic and technical possibilities in this regards.
Invited by Yamaha CA we presented a 360° video, sound and sensation experience conference during their System Designers Meeting at Euro Disney Paris. This was a wonderful event, thanks ! (I loved the real Ratatouille dinner in a real Gusteau’s restaurant in a fake Paris !)
